These glass oil fonts are replicas of antique fonts. Designed to fit standard wall bracket bowls and many hanging lamp frames. Each has a solid brass number #2 collar that may safely be used with an oil lamp burner or an electrified burner. To fill the font after use, unscrew the small side-fill solid brass cap (with cork gasket). There is no need to remove the chimney and unscrew the burner each time.
This cased clear over opal glass font has a plain upper surface. The bottom is ribbed and embossed with a starburst pattern. These patterns would be visible
if the font were used in a loop style wall bracket or a hanging lamp frame. Price is $27 + shipping by Priority Mail ($10.20). Packed weight is just less than

This is a crystal clear glass font with an embossed Chain-of-Beads pattern circling its bulge. It too is designed to fit standard wall bracket cups and many hanging lamp frames. It also if fitted with a solid brass #2 collard lamp oil. The bottom of the font is flat and unornamented; as such it can be used as a table lamp and it is supported in a wall cup all around the bulge, not resting on the bottom of the bracket frame cup - so it is very stable. This stainless steel reflector is specially made for all bracket lamp frames having the upright iron spike at the top. Very good quality and highly polished. It will definitely not tarnish or rust, and is historically consistent with early bracket lamp frames. Price is $16.00, plus $3.24 for First Class postage.
STAINLESS STEEL PIEPLATE REFLECTOR
This so-called Mercury Glass Reflector is a replica of the ones used on bracket lamps in the 1800's and early 1900's. Originally coated inside with mercury, a deadly metal, the new versions are instead silvered like any modern day mirror. They are hand blown in the Czech Republic with a brass threaded socket on the back. A "holder" (see below) that looks like a lollipop threads onto that socket, then the stick of the holder is held in place by a reflector nut. This not allows one to adjust the reflector, permitting the lamp's light to be directed at will.
Because the glass reflectors contain silver, the price has risen along with the all-time rise in the price of all precious metals. They now sell elsewhere for $122! I have been able to purchase "seconds." Each reflector has a tiny flaw in the silver. It is a faint, very pale brown circle, about the size of a shirt button near the reflector's center. I've been unable to photograph it because it is so pale. The price includes a holder. My price is for these flawed reflectors is $50.00, plus shipping in North America of $9.00.
